This is a courtesy announcement for the Hill family

Dwayne Edward Hill of Venice, FL (formally of Hillsville, VA) passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023.

He was born on March 20,1950 to Rev. Robert and Earthel Hill.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Cheryl Humphrey Hill; brothers Deward Hill and Jewel Lee Hill, and sister Opaline Bunn.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tammy Tobler (Jeff) of Galax, VA; son, Kevin Hill (Missy) of Venice, FL, grandchildren; Nick Tobler, Makayla Tobler, Kinsey Hill, Brody Hill, Brent Hill; 5 great-grandchildren; Brothers and sister; Dearl Hill, Don Hill, Ralph Hill, Berlie Hill, and Maxine Hall. He was also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews and a host of friends whom he loved dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
