Duane "Fig" Harrison Frost, 65 of Woodlawn, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Galax Nursing and Rehab.  Mr. Frost was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Harrison Walter and Evelyn Joyce Carter Frost.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Ralph Bond; niece, Crystal Bond Lineberry; nephew, Ralph Weston Bond and wife, Stacy; great-nieces and nephews, Cody Bond and wife, Lindsay, Ashley Bond, Katelyn Lineberry and Max Lineberry; and great-great-nephew, Colton Ryan Bond.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Chaplain David Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
