Douglas Junior Utt, 61, of Woodlawn passed away on Friday June 28, 2013 at The Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.Mr. Utt is preceded in death by his father, Junior Jethro Utt. Survivors include his wife, Janice Utt of Woodlawn, his three sons; Brian Utt and wife, Lindsey, of Galax, Shawn Utt and wife, Ann Margaret, of Pulaski, Chris Utt and wife, Stacey, also of Pulaski; Mother, Ida Belle Webb, of Fancy Gap. Four sisters; Geraline Cranford and husband, Dan, of Sparta, NC, Janice Stoots and husband, Gary, of Hillsville, Colleen Droney and husband, Bob, of Floyd, Nacol Sutphin and husband, Ken, of Roanoke. Grandchildren; James Utt, Emily Utt and Owen Utt. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 2, 2013 at Victory Way Baptist Church in Hillsville, with Pastor Mike Wells and Pastor Danny Beasley officiating. The burial will follow in the Henley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Victory Way Baptist Church on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon until the time of services. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the memorial fund set up at Carter Bank & Trust under the name of Brian Utt in Memory of Douglas Junior Utt.
