Douglas Mackauther Felts , 66 of Low Gap, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. Mr. Felts was born in Low Gap, NC on March 16, 1950. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Felts; mother, Ola Mae Goodson Myers; brothers, Donald Ray Felts and Harvey Eugene Felts; and step father, James Fulton Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Crotts Felts of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Janet Felts of Mt. Airy, NC; step daughter and spouse, Tina and Bobby East of Low Gap; siblings, Dorothy Woods and Will of Fancy Gap, Dale Felts and T.J. of Hillsville, Virginia Felts of Low Gap, NC, Linda Combs and Joseph of Hillsville and Lester Felts and Theresa of Galax; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
