Douglas Michael Bolen, 53, of Austinville passed away on Friday, April 5,2013 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, William James and Anna Mae Beasley Bolen, son Douglas Wayne Bolen. Survivors include his wife, Carla Bolen of the home; children and spouses, Deborah Gallimore of Austinville, and Douglas and Angie Bolen of Woodlawn; brother, Dennis Bolen of Galax, sister and brother-in-laws, Cathy and Sam Vaughan, and Cindy and Joey Beasley all of Hillsville; grandchildren, Emmalee "Tink" Gallimore, Abby Gallimore, Austin Gallimore, Cyanna Bolen, and William Bolen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Bolen Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family of Mr. Bolen.
