Dorothy Marie Rayburn, 70 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, April3, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Rayburn was born in Louisville, Georgia to the late William Jones and Eva Marie Wrens Godowns. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rayburn was also preceded in death by four brothers, Tommy Godowns, Jack Godowns, Roy Godowns, and David Godowns.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Rayburn of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Aaron Quesinberry of Hillsville; son Jeff Lamb and fiancé, Bonnie of Louisville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Fay Godowns and Billy and Linda Godowns, all of Louisville, VA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay and Robert Downs of Hiwassi, GA, Frances and Jimmy Kelly of Wadley, GA, and Joanne and Bud McKneeley of Louisville, VA; and two grandchildren, Kamryn Quesinberry and Clay Quesinberry.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jeremy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
