Dorothy N. Moore, 80, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Moore was born in Carroll County on May 22, 1931 to the late Blaine and Sarah Luther Newman. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Elwood Moore and two grandchildren Billy Joe Moore and Susan Ann Robinson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Faye and Randy Bryant, son Ronald Moore, sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Eugene Honaker, granddaughter Ginger Vyhnanek, and special friend Samantha Richardson all of Hillsville; and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Liberty Hill Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Akers officiating. There will be no visitation.
