Dorothy "Dottie" Katherine Bryant Semones, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. Semones was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Anderson M. and Clora Thomason Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald V. Semones; sisters, Lucille Higgins and Wilma Smith; and special niece, Linda Earle.

Survivors include her daughters and spouses, Karon and Dennis Felts and Gwen and Wayne Marion; grandchildren, Roger Marion (Debbie Jo), Kristie Golden (Sean), Rhonda Webb (Dedrian), and Jennifer Beasley (Forrest); six great-grandchildren, Abbi Puckett, Aubrey Golden, Alex Puckett, Olivia Marion, Julia Marion, and Wyatt Beasley; several nieces and nephews; and her special little dog, Butterscotch.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastors Wayne Marion and Zeb Hicks officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
