Dorothy Lee Hollinger,76 of Independence, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Hollinger was born in Grayson County to the late Henry and Annie Keene Crouse. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hollinger; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Debbie and Richard Johnson and Rob and Debbie Vaught Hollinger; siblings, Jesse Crouse (Robin) and Nancy Goad; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
