Dorothy Lee Burcham Edwards, formerly of Galax, VA passed away in Highland Ridge Rehab in Dublin, VA on September 7, 2022.  She is survived by her daughter, Susan Edwards Lindsey of Pulaski, VA, one son-in-law, Larry Lindsey of Pulaski, VA; three grandchildren, Lt. Colonel Brandon Lindsey and wife, Georgia of Charlottesville, VA, Whitney Lindsey Hodges and husband, Jake of Wytheville, VA, and Shannon Edwards Rhea and husband, Derek of Chilhowie, VA; eight great-grandchildren; one niece, Sarah Bryant and great-nephew, Saxton Sink of Advance, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Edwards; son, Larry Roy Edwards, and mother and father, Grace and Guy Burcham.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville, VA.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with funeral services, conducted by Pastor Bobby Webb of Round Knob Baptist Church, following at 2:00 PM in the chapel.  A graveside service with burial will be at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Carroll County.
