Doris Louise Todd, 81, of Fancy Gap passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Commonwealth Senior Living at Hillsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Todd; parents, Claude and Ruth Smith Benson.

Survivors include her two sons, David Todd of Manassas, VA, and Darryl Todd and special friend Libby Hennett of Mooresville, NC; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Mary Ann McKnight & M.D. McKnight of China Grove, NC, and Hazel and Ronnie McDaniel of China Grove, NC; sister-in-law, Thelma Smith of Maryland; grandchildren and spouse; Amber Moore, Darryl and Lindsey Todd, Jr., and Tiffany Todd; three great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville with Pastor Robert Smith and Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville at P.O. Box 356 Hillsville, VA 24343 or to Mountain Valley Hospice at 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Todd family.
