Doris Lineberry, 51 of Woodlawn, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her father Pete Fender. Doris is survived by her husband, Carroll Lineberry of the home; sons & daughters-in-law Gregory & Sarah Lineberry of Creedmoor, NC and Travis & Meghan Lineberry of Lynchburg, VA; mother Bobbie D. Fender of Woodlawn; brother Robert R. Fender of Woodlawn; sisters & brother-in-law Kathy & Larry Funk of Woodlawn, and Kimberly Fender of Galax; and three grandchildren Erin Rhianna Lineberry, Brenden Rhees Lineberry and Cali Reagan Lineberry.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Coulson Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday night at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 9 East Church Avenue, Roanoke VA 24011 or to the Mountain Valley Hospice 416 South Main Street, Hillsville, VA 24343.
