Donald Victor Semones, 72 of Hillsville, VA passed away Monday morning, September 24, 2007, at his home. He was born December 30, 1934 in Carroll County, VA the son of Victor and Eura Dalton Semones. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Bryant Semones of the home; two daughters & son-in-law Karon Beasley of Hillsville, VA and Gwendolyn & Wayne Marion of Walnut Cove, NC; four grandchildren Roger Marion, Kristie Golden, Rhonda Puckett and Jennifer Beasley; one great granddaughter Abbigail Puckett; two sisters & brother-in-law Christine Hawks of Asheboro, NC and Erma & Jimmy Montgomery of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Coy Semones.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chip Neely officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
