Donald Eugene Padgett, 75 of Laurel Fork, passed away on March 18, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Carroll County to the late Harrison and Myrtis Martin Padgett. Survivors include his brother, Guy Padgett and sister, Erthyl Dalton both of Hillsville; special companion, Ethel Martin; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Gardner Memorial Cemetery with Pastor David Bays and Mr. Terry Simone officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
