Dillon Michael Young, 25, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lee Young; grandmother, Goldie Nester Alderman; mother-in-law, Dianna Carol Bean.

Survivors include his fiancé, Ashley Rosen, of Hillsville; parents, Tony Dwayne and Angela Alderman Young of Hillsville; brothers and spouses, Matthew Dwayne Young and Nickie Star Combs of Hillsville, and Mark Aaron Young and Hyleigh Rayne Sawyers of Hillsville; brother-in-law, Craig Randall Rosen of Texas; paternal grandmother, Irene Mabel Young; maternal grandfather, Floyd Kenneth Alderman; nephews, Aaron Dwayne Young of Hillsville, and Samuel Colt Young of Hillsville; his fur babies, Shadow, Palmer, and Sophie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Minister Gilbert Myers officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Young family.
