Diane Marilyn Hill Warwick, age 68, a resident of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in her home.

Diane was born March 12, 1943 in Durham, NC to Mary Helen Hill of North Carolina & the late Walter S. Hill.  She was a graduate of W.P. Clarke High School and earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Education at Catawba College.  She was married to the late Johnson F. Warwick, Sr, who retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation in Hillsville.

Diane shared her passion for music with countless young people as a teacher in the Carroll County School district and surrounding areas for over 30 years.  She was a devoted wife and mother who had a heart for giving.  Her hobbies included teaching private piano lessons, playing for her local church, reading the bible, and blessing others with her culinary abilities.  Diane was a faithful Christian that loved serving our Lord, Jesus Christ.

In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her children, Johnson F. (Donna) Warwick, Jr. of Florida, April L. (Ken) Morris  of North Carolina and Audrey D. Barlow of Florida; grandchildren, Jessica of Texas, Tamara and Kirra both of Florida; and siblings, Jerry Hill of Texas, June Schulman of Illinois and Jeff Hill of North Carolina.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady  Funeral Home.  A Procession to Gardner Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.
