Diane Elizabeth Burcham, 77 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her home.  Mrs. Burcham was born in Washington, DC on May 11, 1948.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Harrison Burcham, Jr.; father, Raymond Porelle; mother, Alice Brown; and brother Michael Porelle.

Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Edwards and Michelle Pitt; grandchildren, Alyssa Pitt, Courteney Pitt, Ryan Edwards (Logan), Lauryn Pitt, and Brandon Edwards; great-grandchildren, Lyla, and Eli (expected in March 2026); two half-brothers, Ray and Tim Porelle; brother-in-law, Joe (Pam) Burcham; and sister-in-law, Peggy Crosswhite.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ray Bolen officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Burial will be in the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery in Dublin.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
