**THIS IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR THE CROUSE FAMILY** Deriek W. Crouse, 39, of Christiansburg, Virginia Tech police officer, died in the line of duty on Thursday, December 8, 2011. Crouse was a 1991 graduate of Carroll County High School. The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home on Sunday, December 11, 2011, from 3-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, December 12, 2011, at Virginia Tech's Cassell Coliseum, Washington Street & Spring Road, Blacksburg, VA.
