Dennis Allen Gwyn, 63 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mr. Gwyn was born in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Thomas David and Nancy Lou Dean Gwyn. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Ila Hall, Rosie Johnson, Julie Hicks, Ethel Slate, Lorraine Galyean, Harvey Gwyn, and Richard Gwyn.

Survivors include his special friend, Pauline Goins of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sheila (Penny) Gwyn of Mt. Airy, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Audene and Donnie Slate of Mt. Airy, NC; step sons, Wayne Goins of Mt. Airy, NC and Ricky Goins of Fancy Gap; four step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family and sent to P.O. Box 145 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
