Dennis Ray Bunn, 79 of Galax, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his home.  Mr. Bunn was born in Carroll County to the late John Clayton and Annabelle Isom Bunn.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Bunn and several siblings.

Survivors include his sons, Dennis Bunn, John Bunn, and Steven Bunn; siblings, Kathy Bunn Murray, Shirley Joyce, Roger Clayton Bunn, Bobby Gray Bunn, Randy Mitchell Bunn, David Lee Bunn, Dean Leroy Bunn, and Gary Allen Bunn; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
