Delton Blankenship, age 70 of Hillsville, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Blankenship is survived by his son & daughter-in-law Danny & Crystal Blankenship of Hillsville; a special aunt Hettie Gravley; three grandchildren Kasey Blankenship, Abigail Blankenship and Cody Mason; and one great grandson Joshua Blankenship.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. at the church on Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
