Delores Jean Nester went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Evelyn Bruce; brothers, Clifford Bruce and Jim Bruce. She was also reunited with her precious grandson, Dustin Ray Cassell, whom she loved very dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Darlene Cassell and husband Danny; sons Robert Wayne Dunford and husband Nick Cohen, and Allen Dunford; brother, Garland Bruce and wife T.J.; grandchildren, Tammy and Cecil. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Delores faith was strong and unyielding and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery.
