Della Radford Utt

Della Mae Radford Utt, 86, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. Mrs. Utt was born in West Virginia to the late Robert Lee Radford and Ollie Mae Clay Radford. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ray Utt; sister, Mary Hall; brother, Thomas Radford.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Ann Dearborn (Steven); her sons Jeffery Eugene Utt and Alan Lee Utt; grandchildren and spouses, Ashley Marie Johnson (Matthew), Priscilla Faye Dearborn, Nathan Tyler Goad (Andrea), and Alisha Brooke Dalton (Terry); great grandchildren, Talon Dearborn, Tyson Galloway, Jeremiah Goad, Ethan Johnson, Olivia Goad, Trinity Goad, and Aleaha Dalton; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was a faithful and devoted member of Round Knob Baptist Church. Above all, she was a sweet, loving mother and grandmother whose warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be cherished forever by her family.

The family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists at Twin County Regional Hospital for the kindness and attention they provided during each of her stays.

Flowers will be accepted or donations to Round Knob Baptist for the food pantry.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
