Delcie D. Allen, age 94, passed away on October 19, 2022 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. She was born September 29, 1928 in Willis, Virginia to Lee Turman and Alta McPeak Turman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald D. Allen; son, Gary Allen; brothers, Elmo Turman and Elwood Turman; and sister, Doris Haga.

Delcie is survived by son, David (Tracy) Allen of Roanoke, VA; daughters, Donna (Elvin) Jennings of Hillsville, VA and Carol Lockwood of Williamsburg, OH; and eight grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jaylene) Jennings of Columbus, OH, Kristen J. Rife of Woodlawn, VA, Whitney (Mike) Bond of Roanoke, VA, Landon Lockwood and Stephan Lockwood both of Williamsburg, OH, Brittany (Jarrod) Applegate of Ripley, OH; Kaitlyn Lockwood of Williamsburg, OH, and Justin Allen of Wytheville, VA. Also surviving are eleven great-grandchildren, Alex Applegate, Giavonna Jennings, Theron Jennings, Oliver Rife, Isobella Rife, Emma Bond, Della Bond, Lyla Bond, Roman Lockwood, Tyra Allen and Leia Allen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Newbern Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
