Debra Jean Thompson, 66 of Wytheville, passed away on April 19, 2022 at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Mrs. Thompson was born in New Mexico on March 27, 1956. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Curtis Lane.

Survivors include her children, Catina Clark of Hillsville, Sherri Keller and Cliff of North Carolina, and Michelle Manuel of Tennessee; mother and step-father, Mary J. and Elmo White; sister, Valerie Underwood and Howard of West Virginia; grandchildren, Ryan Clark, Jasmine Keller, Carissa Keller and Ally Manuel; niece, Shannon Williams and Keith; and a great-niece and great-nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
