Debra Sue Nelson Cook 70 of Woodlawn, Virginia went to be with her sweet Jesus on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Lorene Cardwell Nelson; brother, Lenwood Nelson; sister, Brenda Venable; brother-in-law, L.G. Tilley.

Survivors include her, husband, Michael Cook of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Dale Shockley; grandchildren, Nevaeh Shockley, Noah Shockley and Lily Shockley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Marie Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Shirley Nelson; sister, Carolyn Tilley; sister-in-law, Donna Arbaugh; brother-in-law and spouse, Chris and Sheila Cook. Special family member Joyce Shockley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Harold Goins officiating.
