Deborah Lynn Carte 73 of Hillsville passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enos and Doris Griffith; sister, Dianne Griffith.

Deborah was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William Carte; mother, Edith Griffith; sons and daughters-in-laws, Thomas and Ann Talbert, Patrick and Kim Talbert, and Phillip Talbert; siblings, Donna Hornsby, Calvin Griffith, Ruth Dotson, Carollena Miller, Grace Hackney, and Karen Stinson; grandchildren, Sierra Poe, Brooklyn Talbert, Phoenix, Adkins, Jacob Talbert, Hope Talbert, Joshua Talbert, Anthony Talbert, and Matthew Childress; great granddaughter, Amelia Poe; step grandchild, Jade Gordon.
