Debbie Lee
Puckett Goad
August 12, 1959 – July 26, 2021
Debbie Lee Puckett Goad was called home by the Lord on Monday 07/26/2021, she was surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years, devoted daughter, strong son-in-law, compassionate son and devoted daughter-n-law, and affectionate grandchildren. Debbie was a faithful Christian who had been through 15 years of battling cancer and never lost her hope and faith in the Lord. Debbie loved her family and friends with all her heart. Debbie enjoyed working in the garden, canning, baking and sharing her bounty with others. Yard selling brought joy to Debbie because she got to spend time making memories with her loved ones and having an adventure each time. Debbie was a kind and gentle soul who cared more about others, even in the end. Debbie wanted to say "a special thanks to her pink sister June Thomas for helping me through the pain, and to Jamie Branscome the Angel who brought me home to my family, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have had the special last days with my family."
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annie Hall Puckett; grandson, Aidan Wyatt Goad.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years Paul Wayne Goad; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa JoyAnn and Randy D. Marshall; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon Adam and Alisia (Nikki) Goad; grandchildren, Bentley Aaron Marshall, Annie Grace Marshall, Maycie Linn Goad, and CooperLee Wyatt Goad -coming soon- grandson; brothers, Roger William Puckett and Gordon James Puckett; precious pink sister, June Thomas.
