Dean Duncan 61 of Galax passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Ayers Duncan; parents, Delmo and Thelma Puckett Duncan.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Leanne and Scotty Grubb, and Casey Duncan; step children and spouses, Jennifer Ayers, Chasity Wright, Larry Czonka Testerman, and Roger and Tara Bobbitt; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill Duncan, and Johnny and Rose Duncan; grandchildren, Paige Briggs, Teagan Grubb, Victoria Bairey, Tristen Wright, Perrin Wright, Quinn Testerman, Glenn Bobbitt, Taya Bobbitt, Brett Bobbitt; great grandchildren, Greyson Bairey, Dominic Bairey, Evelyn Bairey, and Korbyn Horton.

Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Sharp Cemetery with Ricky Alexander and Don Scott officiating. There will be no visitation.
