David Worrell, 51, of Woodlawn, passed away on Wednesday, November 05, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Worrell was born in Carroll County, VA to Bud and Wilma Worrell of Woodlawn. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Carol Worrell of the home; brothers-in-law and spouses, Kenneth and Cathy Mabe of Ennice, NC, Billy and Regina Mabe of Galax, and James Mabe of Woodlawn; and several step nieces and nephews. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Melton Cemetery with Pastor Billy Burnette officiating. There will be no visitation. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
