David Wayne Turman born December 12, 1963 in Carroll County Virginia went to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence H. Turman; brothers, Kenneth L. Turman and C. Arvin Turman.

David graduated Carroll County High School in 1982 and he had a Masters Degree from Radford University. David worked for Sperry Rail. David also enjoyed history, art and travel.

Survivors include his, mother, Virginia Sutphin Turman; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie R. and Frances Turman; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Dana and Donald Martin, and Lois and Milton Graham; niece, Tracy Haynes and husband Joe; great niece, Skyler Haynes; great nephew, Jesse Haynes; uncle H. Dean Sutphin and wife Diane; aunts Nelda T. Nester and Lockie M. Turman. Several Cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Stephen Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sutphin Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
