David Glenn Thompson, 63, of Hillsville, VA passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Ruth Quesenberry Thompson and Erbie Thompson.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristin Martin of Pearisburg, VA; son, Anthony Bryant of Christiansburg, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Jerry Caviness of Hillsville; two grandchildren, Brooklyn Martin and David Martin; nephew and spouse, Jason and Ana Rash.; special cousin, Rhonda Stephens; special friends Eddie and Diane Stone; and step-mother, Martha Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Darren Byrd officiating. Inurnment will be at Green Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Thompson family.
