David MacArthur Matney

David MacArthur Matney, 83 of Dugspur, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his home. Mr. Matney was born in Buchanan, Virginia to the late Dave and Bessie Leah Matney.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Matney; sons, Robert Dale Matney (Jackie) and Randall David Matney (Debbie); sister, Nell Keen; grandchildren, Jade Matney, Zane Mitchell, Bailey Matney, Tasha Matney, Brandon Brock, and Nichole Brock; and great-grandchildren, Christian Bond and Hunter Mitchell.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Matney family.
