David Bruce Leftwich, 73 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Leftwich was born in West Virginia to the late Roy Jacob and Helen Bruce Leftwich. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Valerie Leftwich.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Hodges Leftwich; daughter, Angel Leftwich; granddaughter, Sydnie Stowers; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Joan Leftwich; and several nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Shiloh United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastors Dina Clower and Ray Bolen officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons or to the Shiloh Building Fund. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
