David Wayne Johnson, 56 of Galax, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Johnson is survived by his mother Katherine Wright Johnson of Hillsville; brother & special friend Ronnie Johnson & Janet Williams of Laurel Fork; sister & brother-in-law Nancy & Robert Walk of Wytheville; and special niece Whitney Walk.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday night, October 15, 2006, at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Albert J. Linville officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday night prior to the memorial service.
