Daune Gallimore Lawson, 67, of Austinville, VA passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her, father, R.C. Gallimore; three brothers, Steve Gallimore, D.W. Gallimore, and Junior Gallimore.

Survivors include her, husband, Douglas E. Lawson of the home; four children and spouses, Vicki Hull of Welcome, NC, Robert and Ashley Lawson of Austinville, Jason and Julie Lawson of Austinville, and Steven and Jody Lawson of Austinville; mother, Emma Gallimore Newman of Austinville; siblings and spouses, Gary and Elaine Gallimore of Austinville, Olen and Jeannie Gallimore of Austinville, Ellen Ogle of Austinville, Ray and Cheryl Gallimore of Woodlawn, Collene Gallimore of Hillsville, James Gallimore of Hillsville, Thomas and Carol Gallimore of Austinville, Iva Gallimore of Hillsville, and Jewel and David Frogel of Austinville; three grandchildren, Makayla Lawson, Isaiah Lawson, and Hunter Hull; one great-grandson, Hayden Hunley; three step-grandchildren, Miranda, Alexa, Jessyka.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant View Church with Pastor Ricky Alexander and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Lawson family.
