Obituary

Darlene Elizabeth Quesenberry, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Quesenberry was born in Louden County to the late Carl and Edna Henley Lindsey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Junior Quesenberry; a son, Michael Quesenberry; brothers, Sammy Lindsey and James Lindsey; and sister-in-law, Betty Lindsey.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Vicky Quesenberry, Don and Cheryl Quesenberry, and Kenneth and Judy Quesenberry all of Hillsville; siblings and spouses, Bobby and Cora Lindsey of Hillsville, Roger and Janette Lindsey of Hillsville, Lonnie and Ima Lindsey of Hillsville, and Maxine Quesenberry of Woodlawn; daughter-in-law, Alice Quesenberry; sister-in-law, Katie Lindsey; grandchildren, Gary Quesenberry, Steven Quesenberry, Willie Quesenberry, David Quesenberry, Brandon Quesenberry, Cameron Quesenberry, Chanz Quesenberry, Jessi Dalton, Justin Quesenberry, Brian Quesenberry, Angie Akers, and Michael Cockerham; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
