Darlene "Sissy" Lundy, 56 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston Salem. Darlene was born in Galax, VA on July 13, 1960. She was preceded in death by her husband, Treaver L. Lundy and her father, James Edward Edmonds.

Survivors include her mother, Gracie L. Edmonds of Woodlawn; brothers, Michael Edmonds of Fancy Gap and Kenny Edmonds of Martinsville; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Mike Frazier; nephews and spouses, Stephen and Erica Frazier and Brandon and Ame Frazier of Fancy Gap, and many special caregivers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Shockley officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Oaks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
