Darlene Jeanette Goad, 59, of Dugspur passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Goad; father, Moyer Paul Gardner, Sr.; mother, Verlie Lorene Quesenberry Gardner.

Survivors include three sons, Gregory Gardner of Hillsville, Neil David Pratt of Galax, and Shawn Michael Pratt of Indiana; brother, Moyer Paul Gardner, Jr. of Hillsville; four sisters, Donna Lindamood of Hillsville, Deana Bowman of Hillsville, Juanita Padgett of Barren Springs, and Wanda Felts of Hillsville; one grandson, Colton Pratt; boyfriend, Wayne Hickman of Hillsville.
