Darl Lorene Barlow, 81 of Austinville, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center in Independence. Mrs. Barlow was born in Carroll County to the late Hobert & Cora Vaughn Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Ronald Edd Barlow; brothers Carl Edwards and Dale Edwards; and a sister Luella Shupe. She is survived by her children & spouses Rita & Roger Rotenizer, Ruth & Howard Lundy, Joye & Virgil Horton, Shelia & Carl Caviness and Edward Ray Barlow all of Austinville; sisters Laeula Frazier and Martha Combs both of Hillsville; ten grandchildren Beth Phillips, Julie Paisley, Jamie Rotenizer, Suzanne Spencer, Kelly Rotenizer, Carla Rebollar, Jeremy Caviness, Terry Caviness, Phillip Lundy and Derek Lundy; and nine great grandchildren Ian Rotenizer, Sierra Rotenizer, Lance Rotenizer, Elijah Caviness, Jordan Caviness, Adriana Caviness, Isiah Caviness, Kayley Phillips and Kamryn Phillips.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Coulson Church of the Brethren at 1:00 PM with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Coulson Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
