Danny Ray Wooten, 63 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Wooten was born in Galax, Virginia to the late William and Cora Alderman Wooten. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Wooten.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda Faye Wooten of the home; son, Lester R. Wooten & fiancé, Dorothy White of Galax; brothers and sisters-in-law, Scottie and Josie Wooten and Jessie and Cindy Wooten all of Galax; and several nieces and nephews.
