Danny Keith Pickett, 60 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Pickett was born in Welch, WV to the late Charles W. and Bonnie Jean Burnette Pickett.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Justin Pickett; and siblings, Wayne Pickett and Terry Pickett Marshall.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Goad Pickett; daughter, Kecia Delp and husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Harli Delp, Kadon Delp, Brody Delp, and Kain Delp; mother-in-law, Dian Goad; siblings, Larry Pickett and wife, Linda, Sandy Brinkley, Joe Pickett and wife, Debbie, Dusty Pickett and wife, Malette, Robin Bond, Jeff Pickett and wife, Tammy, and Lisa Lawson and husband, Jerry; sister-in-law, Janice R. Pickett and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with the funeral expenses.   Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
