Danny Jones, 41 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Jones was born in Galax, Virginia to Sally Kate Shupe Jones of Hillsville and the late James Monroe Jones. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother Georgia Phillips. In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers & sister-in-law Johnny & Sandra Jones of Austinville and Marley Jones of Hillsville; sister Shirley Jones of Galax; grandfather Everett Phillips; best friend Terrence Stevenson; and very special nieces and nephews Brandi, Chris, Ebony, Jada, Xavier, Tajh, and Tiquan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 12:00 PM with Rev. James Witten officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Fleming Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
