Daniel Leon Richmond, 60 of Max Meadows, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Mr. Richmond was born in Wytheville, Virginia to the late Dewey Leonard Richmond, Sr. and Mable Lucille Ayers Richmond.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Richmond; children and spouses, Julia and Nathan Justice, Amanda and Robert Hess, Dan and Michelle Richmond, and Lucinda and Jason Guthrie; brother and sister-in-law, Dewey and Frances Richmond; sister, Ginger and Joe Riggins; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dan and Sue Kennedy; grandmother-in-law, Martha Tate; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Riverview Church of God in Barren Springs with Pastor Eddie Dalton and Pastor Wyndom Davidson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
