Daniel Robert Alderman 79 of Hillsville, VA passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hobert and Nellie Christine Alderman; brother, Ronald Alderman.

Survivors include his wife Alma Freeman Alderman of the home; son, Ronald Alderman of Roanoke, VA; daughters and son-in-law, Denise and Randy Shumate of Mt. Airy, NC, and Lisa Alderman of Hillsville, VA; brothers, Marvin Alderman of The Colony, TX, and Roy Alderman of Galax, VA; seven grandchildren, Chris, Camron, Andrew, Josh, Phillip, Adam, and Cory; three great grandchildren, Skylar, Neveah, and Memphis; sister-in-law, Vicki Alderman; niece, Stacy Amstutz and husband Rob of Anna, TX.

A Graveside Service and Burial will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery in Hillsville, VA with Wilma Carricho officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Alderman family.
