Dallas Ray Cox, 71, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Howard Cox; brothers, Mac Cox, and Victor Cox; brother-in-law, Carson Moore; nephew, J.C. Moore. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Q. Cox of the home; daughters and sons-in-laws, Theresa and Sanford Dalton, and Sheila and Warren Newman; granddaughters, Makayla Renae Newman, and Katlyn Breanne Newman; special niece, Sherry and Mike Cairns, and Justin Cairns; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Dauwan, and Patsy and Bobby Garrett; brothers and sister-in-law, Windel and Jean Cox, Gerry Cox, and Gordon Cox; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Carolyn Cox, Ann Moore, Regina and Gary Dalton, Tommy and Mary Quesenberry, Russell and Susan Quesenberry, Renae and Melvin Funkhouser, Leroy and Lisa Quesenberry; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastors David Bays and Danny Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Vine Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
