Dale Thompson, 79 of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Mr. Thompson was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Wyatt and Elsie Thompson.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Belva Thompson, Aubrey Thompson, Dana Slusher, and Elmon Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Goad Thompson; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Dee Thompson and Randy and Jenny Thompson; grandchildren, April Clontz, Cody Thompson, Gracie Thompson, and Levi Thompson; and great-granddaughter, Kate Clontz.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rocky Sutphin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fredrick Nester Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
