Dale Russell Gravley, 41 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at his home. Mr. Gravley was preceded in death by his father Maynard Gravley and a brother Dennie Surratt. He is survived by his wife Brenda Dalton Gravley and daughters Britne and Faith Gravley all of the home; mother Nancy Rose of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-law Paul & Vivian Gravley of Hillsville, Alan & Rhonda Gravley of Woodlawn, Dallas Gravley of Galax, Gary & Penny Gravley of Hillsville, Ricky & Monique Surratt of Hillsville and Michael & Carla Surratt of Max Meadows; sisters & brothers-in-law Cathy & John Smith of Max Meadows, Cristy & Shane Quesinberry of Cana, Rosemary (Chick) Nixon of Troy, VA and Marcy & Ronnie Bayse of Fincastle; and special best friends Jerry & Velma Shupe.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Wayne Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
