Dale Laverne Cassell, 77 of Hillsville passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Cassell was born in Hillsville to the late Guy & Vivian Cassell. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Elwood (Woody) Reynolds. He is survived by his sister Iris W. Reynolds of Hillsville; several cousins; and special caregivers Mary & Jerry Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Steve Gayheart officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Joy Ranch P.O.
