Cynthia J. Nester, 58, of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Nester was born in Carroll County to the late Ralph and Lucille Bond. Survivors include her husband, Roy Lee Nester of the home; sons Ronnie Lee (Toby) Nester and Shane Grey Nester, both of Arizona; brothers Edmond Ralph Bond, Jr. of Austinville, Terry Michael Bond of Christiansburg, and Ronnie Bond of Fancy Gap; and sister, Patricia Parnell of Fancy Gap. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Little Vine Community Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. T. Michael Bond and Joshua Graham officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
